En meget informativ og profesjonelt filmet DVD med tre forskjellige avsnitt: En dokumentar om Buddhisme i den morderne verden - et seminar med Lama Ole Nydahl - og et intervju med den 17. karmapa. Siden 1968 har de danske lamaer, Hannah og Ole Nydahl gjort det til deres livsverk å spre budskapet om den tibetanske buddhisme til resten av verden. De tilhører Karma Kadjy skolen innenfor Diamantveien i den tibetanske buddhisme, og det er nå over 600 buddhist-centre fordelt over hele verden. DVDen viser hvordan livet er for en buddhist i en travel, moderne og vestlig verden og forteller om, hvorfor buddhismen har så stor appel for moderne mennesker idag. I filmens andre avsnitt deler Lama Ole Nydahl av buddhismens sannheter med både humor og innsikt, og til slutt på DVDen er det et sjeldent intervju med den 17. karmapa.

Since 1968, the Danish lamas, Hannah and Ole Nydahl, have made it their life’s work to spread the message of Tibetan Buddhism to the rest of the world. They belong to the Karma Kagyu school within the Diamond Way of Tibetan Buddhism, and there are now over 600 Buddhist centers worldwide.

The DVD shows what life is like for a Buddhist in a busy, modern, Western world and explains why Buddhism has such strong appeal for contemporary people today. In the second section of the film, Lama Ole Nydahl shares the truths of Buddhism with both humor and insight. Finally, the DVD concludes with a rare interview with the 17th Karmapa.
